She is a yellow Lab/greyhound mix about 4- 5 years old. She's very smart and athletic. She passed level 1 obedience school last winter, learning both verbal as well as hand signal commands. She then went on to take the AKC, Canine Good Citizen class, passing her CGC test! She's very loving and we hope someone will give her a good home. She will give back to you as much or more that you give to her!

Shelby is a dominant dog with some toy/food aggression issues that have gotten much better with work, but she should be in an only dog household. She gets along with other dogs in the dog classes with absolutely no aggression issues. There are no issues with people/children.

This special dog deserves a nice home and a second chance. The only reason her family has come to the painful decision to give her up is because the two dogs living together just simply do not get along.... and they have chosen to adopt out the more adoptable dog. The other female dog in the house has some health issues and that makes her less adoptable.

Please consider giving this sweet, gorgeous and lovable dog a home she deserves.
